How can I become a Subscriber?

To become a V-Tell Subscriber, please choose a tariff and the way you prefer to receive your SIM card.

Can a V-Tell service subscriber be a company?

Yes, certainly, it is possible.

Can you tell me a little bit about V-Tell?

V-Tell is an international mobile network operator that provides mobile services around the world. V-Tell services Subscribers are people with active international contacts. V-Tell is the most convenient way to communicate with your loved ones who live abroad. You can make and receive calls to the number that is familiar to your friends! The convenience is one device that is always with you, you are always in touch as well as you have fast internet every time and everywhere.

Can I just buy a dual SIM card phone; how is your product / service better?

A dual-SIM card phone can maintain only 2 numbers at the same time, but we offer unlimited amount of additional foreign numbers. You do not need to keep / maintain the accounts on several SIM cards. Everything is in one V-Tell SIM card!

Do you offer anything else for a lower price?

We have the most advantageous offers on Russian mobile market, whether you travel frequently or call abroad often.
Do you have / offer any discounts? Are there any specials?

We provide our Subscribers with individual discounts. For example, when several Subscribers are connected and use our service (could be your partners, relatives or friends, etc., starting from the group of 5 people) or if the subscription fee is paid for a year in advance. The  discounts are always being offered.
What is a Home Zone?

Home Zone -  includes 45 countries, where you communicate at no extra cost over your monthly payments.
Can Home Zone change?

Due to rapidly growing innovations and increasing competition, the telecomm market is constantly evolving. We, V-Tell, develop new monthly plans and package offers for our Subcsribers, where Home Zone differs depending on our customer's needs.
What if I don’t need so many countries in my Home Zone?

The number of countries depends on the monthly plan you choose. We have an optimized set of countries for people with active international contacts. We permanently add and adjust our proposals taking into consideration the wishes of our Subscribers.

If you call from Russia to Italy, how are my minutes written off? What package / bundle is being used Home Zone or Russian?

When calling HZ countries, the minutes from your existing package are charged. When calling Russian numbers, the minutes from a Russian package are charged.
If I decide to switch to another plan, will I be charged?

Changing you monthly plans is free of charge for you.
If I use up my Internet before next billing period, what happens next, will I be charged automatically? Will Internet service be interrupted?

Your Internet service will never be interrupted. You will be notified via SMS; then you could either upgrade your plan or an international fee for each Mb used will be applied. Cost of Internet is determined by the country where Subscriber is located.

Do you use postpay or prepay system?

We use prepaid system. Your bill is paid on the 1st of every month. You can sign up any day of the month, we will gladly prorate your first bill.
If the country is not covered by Home Zone, will V-Tell still provide the services and how much will it cost?

If the country is not included in our HZ, you will be charged additionally, the notification of low balance will be sent to you via sms.
What other mobile services do you offer?

Call Waiting - when a second call is received while the Subscriber is in conversation, a special sound signal will notify the Subscriber of the second line.

Do you offer any deals for corporations?

Corps are offered various discounts.
How will I pay / be charged for calling to Russia, or calling from Russia to Moldova or from Russia to Italy?

From Russia to Russia - the minutes provided for Russian package will be written off.

From Russia to Italy - since Italy is a part of your HZ, no additional charges will apply.

From Russia to Moldova - Moldova is not included in our HZ, therefore additional charges will be applied to your monthly payment.
SIM-card and numbers
I don’t understand the concept of having several phone numbers on one sim card.

Multi Number Service allows Subscriber to select additional foreign numbers.
Your Partner can call you at local rates to the local number of his country, which is your additional number that you add to your SIM-Card.

The tariff plan includes one free foreign number.
Cost of service: the cost of connecting each additional number - 9,95 EUR / 12 USD / 750 RUB; 
monthly fee for each additional foreign number - 9,95 EUR / 12 USD / 750 RUB;
Can I include in my HZ any country I want? What If I want to include Monaco.

Monaco is included in the HZ, which means that you will receive all the services included in your monthly plan. Unfortunately, an additional Monaco number cannot be purchased; as alternative, we offer French number which serves the same purpose. "Why not?". Some countries, including Monaco, do not allow to sell their numbers to other countries.
How can I order / obtain /get a foreign phone number?

Order a number through your Personal Account (via our website or mobile application):
  • Order phone number through V-Tell website.
  • Order phone number by phone +7958900900.

  • Order phone number via social media platforms: Viber, WhatsApp.
  • Order phone number in V-Tell office.
Being in India, can I get / buy British, English phone number?

Yes, you can buy an additional number remotedly online. Just fill in an application request online or via V-Tell mobile app.

What number will be displayed / shown when I call from Germany to England, given that I don’t have any phone number from those countries?

If you do not have the number of the country which you are calling to, your main number will be displayed on the phone screen (for example:  your existing Russian number).
Is it possible that a different phone number will be displayed / shown when I call from my phone number?

Your personal control of Smart CLI (ADAPTIVE NUMBER IDENTIFIER) function is not available at the moment, but we are working in this direction very hard. Soon you will be able to choose the number you want to be displayed on your mobile device.
Can my phone number be transferred / ported to V-Tell?

Subscriber can switch his phone number to V-Tell network easily. It ussually takes less than 10 calendar days.
If I have a foreign phone number, can it be transferred / ported to V-Tell?

Yes, you can transfer your foreign number to V-Tell, but unfortunately not all numbers are subject to be ported. It will take some time, we thank you for your patience. Could you please leave your personal contacts and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How long does it take to transfer / port my number?

Once the Subscriber decides to port his phone number from abroad, the process usually takes no longer than 30 calendar days. We will make sure that the transition process will be as smooth as possible.
Could SIM card be delivered to NY?

We provide delivery services of our SIM cards worldwide.
How much is sim card delivery?

Delivery Service for our Subscribers is free.
How will the foreign number be displayed on the screen? Will I have to dial it manually? Will I be able to save this number in my contacts?

When a phone call is made, the number is automatically selected to be displayed on the partner’s phone screen, you do not need to choose anything manually. The number will be permanent, you can give it as your personal contact number.
Can I purchase a unique number?

Yes, you can purchase a "unique phone number". This service is charged separately, depending on the type of the number. If you already know which number you want, let us know the desired combination of figures, we will be able to match a number and let you know its cost.
Balance and payment
What are my payment options?

Your Rate Plan and optional number fees will be debited from your credit card on a monthly recurring basis. Any out-of-bundle usage will be debited from your account. You need to recharge your account before being able to use out-of-bundle services. You can Top-up (recharge) your account via your Selfcare app and the Selfcare web portal.

How can I pay for the service?

We offer a convinient  Autopay option. In addition, you can pay on our website https://pay.v-tell.com or via V-Tell mobile application.
